San Rafael Swell and Desert TMP comments

Dear Planning Team Members:

Please accept this correspondence as the input on the reassessment of the San Rafael Swell and San Rafael Desert Travel Plans (“The Proposal”) from the Organizations identified above. The Organizations and our members have been heavily involved in the decades of management efforts that have resulted in the current situation. These comments are submitted in conjunction with the route and site-specific comments submitted by Ride with Respect et at. While the Organizations support the reopening of the proposed routes, we also assert the need for a more complete review of the underlying planning efforts to ensure the plan complies with all legal planning requirements, which have significantly changed over the last several years.
