Johnson valley airspace comments

Dear Mr. Maynard;

Please accept these comments as the vigorous opposition to all alternatives provided in the 29 Palms Airspace EA Project (“the Proposal”) from the above Organizations. It is highly frustrating for the above Organizations to have to take this position as we partnered with multiple federal managers to create and obtain passage of the Johnson Valley OHV area designation as part of the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act. Rather than utilizing the partnership and Congressionally required Resource Management Group for the Johnson Valley area to develop the Proposal and avoid conflicts, federal managers have chosen to avoid these requirements for reasons that are unclear. Many of our members have participated in the decades of planning and collaborative processes for the area and region. These efforts have effectively addressed concerns and challenges in the Johnson Valley OHV area since its creation more than a decade ago. Read the full comment HERE.
